Artists cherish their sketchbooks. To avoid inspirational droughts, we stockpile our ideas at all times. Creativity inspire creativity. Here are the ways of my sketchbooks:
-It is a place that responds to the words we write and draw.
-It is a place we cannot hide from, where answers we give must be true.
-It is a place where the imaginary can create the real.
-It is a place where the world is reduced to a manageable size ....about 8"x6" and smaller.
-It is a place where we can practice being who we are without the fear of failure, judgment or harm.
-It is a place we can remember the past, express gratitude for the present and plan the future.
